Terms and conditions for using the XPyCode Excel Add-in
The XPyCode Excel Add-in is published by BGE Advisory and is provided as a free tool. XPyCode is designed to integrate Python with Microsoft Excel, enabling users to write, execute, and manage Python code directly within Excel workbooks. These terms govern your use of the XPyCode Excel Add-in.
By installing, accessing, or using the XPyCode Excel Add-in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not install or use the add-in.
By installing and using the XPyCode Excel Add-in, you also agree to the Microsoft Standard Application License Terms (SALT). The Microsoft SALT governs the use of applications distributed through the Microsoft marketplace and applies in addition to these Terms of Use.
The XPyCode Excel Add-in is provided free of charge and on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. BGE Advisory makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
BGE Advisory does not guarantee that the add-in will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Use of the add-in is at the user's sole risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BGE Advisory shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or related to the use or inability to use the XPyCode Excel Add-in. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Users are solely responsible for any code they write, execute, or deploy using the XPyCode Excel Add-in. Users must ensure their use of XPyCode complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Users are responsible for reviewing and understanding the behavior of any third-party Python packages they install through the add-in's package manager.
XPyCode is distributed under the MIT License + Commons Clause. The XPyCode name, logo, and branding are the property of BGE Advisory. Users retain ownership of all code they create using the XPyCode Excel Add-in.
BGE Advisory reserves the right to discontinue or modify the XPyCode Excel Add-in at any time without prior notice. These terms remain in effect for as long as you use the add-in. You may terminate these terms at any time by uninstalling and ceasing use of the add-in.
BGE Advisory reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the XPyCode Excel Add-in following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
